The east european manufacturer of construction tools and equipment Intertool has long been known not only at home, but also in neighboring countries, and even the United States. The SN-5500 snow blower will help out more than once in a snowy winter.
Powerful drive
The machine has a 5.5 hp Loncin 4-stroke engine adapted to low temperatures. and a productivity of 1700 cubic metres / hour. It is recommended to refuel the unit with brand 92 gasoline. The tank capacity is 3.6 liters, which is enough for 1.5 – 2 hours of operation.
Automatic oil level control
In order for the motor to serve for a long time, the viscosity of the oil must be selected depending on the temperature regime in which the snowplow is planned to operate, and the first change should be made after the first 5 hours of operation. If there is not enough oil in the engine, it will not start, so it is necessary to maintain the level at the maximum, which will help the float type control sensor.
High manoeuvrability
SN-5500 starts only from a manual starter. Stingy, but practical. The multi-speed gearbox(5 forward, 2 reverse) ensures high manoeuvrability and makes it possible to clear snow even on slopes. Add here more wide wheels with a deep tread, we get a fairly performant assistant, able to almost independently cope with breaking and cleaning dense snow crust.
Overload protection
To prevent the auger from breaking when solid objects get into it, it is attached to the shaft with special pins designed to be sheared in case of jamming of the mechanism. If this happens, it is important to replace the sheared pins with similar ones, as a stronger pin can cause damage to the unit.
Adjusting the position of the bell and the height of the auger
The position of the socket for ejection of snow can be adjusted within an angle of 180º and in height, which is why the distance of mass take-off varies within 10 – 15 m.
The height of the auger is also adjustable, but the process is not fast; at the bottom of the bucket sides, special bolted slides are provided for this.
