The Czech manufacturer of bathroom furniture Jika is popular in Europe for its quality products at an affordable price. The cabinet with drawers and washbasin of the Cube range is available in 5 widths, from 45 to 80 cm, making it suitable for rooms of all sizes.
Restraint and simplicity
The product has a clear rectangular design and is available in two colours: white and wenge. Both the body and the front part are made of laminated chipboard with an impregnation that protects against moisture. This is of little consolation, since chipboard is anyway a lower quality material than MDF, and the edges on the ends may peel off over time.
Large capacity
The height of the product is 622 mm, which makes it quite roomy. The wide indentation from the sink made it possible to make the upper drawer the same height as the lower one. The facades are also absolutely symmetrical, which introduces a certain pedantry into the design, but the handles, although they look neat, are too thin and uncomfortable to grip. It will not be so easy to pull the loaded box towards you, then it is easier to grab the edge of the facade, which is fraught with hand marks on the chipboard.
Convenient washbasin
The sink is distinguished by wide edges, on which it is convenient to place hygiene items, and the wider the cabinet model, the wider the sides of the sink. The product is made of sanitary ware and requires careful care.
All in all, Jika Cube definitely deserves attention, although it is not without flaws. Without them, paying $ 300 for a cabinet with a width of 640 mm would definitely not be a pity.
