The most important distinguishing feature of this model has become a full-fledged LG Smart TV system based on webOS.

Thanks to it, the LG HF80JS projector can act as a multimedia player for network content and local files from USB drives. It is capable of playing all popular file formats with resolutions up to 1920x1080 and frame rates up to 60. There are also applications for viewing Youtube, Netflix, VuDu, Google Map resources, access to the proprietary application store is provided. To create a projection image, a high-tech LED laser source with an impressive nominal resource of 20,000 hours and a maximum brightness of up to 2000 lm is used. Setting up and controlling the projector will not cause problems even for a person who is familiar with home projection only by watching filmstrips. There is a built-in audio system (2x3 W), and an integrated bluetooth adapter can broadcast sound to external bluetooth speakers. A large set of interfaces for connecting external sources is provided.
