Universal underwater metal detector with multi-frequency detection technology for coin and historical search. Low frequencies detect large targets well at great depths, and high frequencies detect small metals that are not detected by conventional detectors. Since the Minelab Excalibur II metal detector is an underwater search device, it does not have a speaker and a display, and all information about the target comes through waterproof headphones. The controls are located along the entire length of the control unit, and all settings are made by five regulators. Power is supplied from a proprietary NiMH battery or 8 AA alkaline batteries.
