The flagship from OnePlus with the serial number "8" in the model name, which entered the arena in mid-spring 2020. As befits top mobile devices, the smartphone is assembled on a metal "frame" in the form of a glass "sandwich". As someone who knows and appreciates phones, I can say that after switching from an iPhone, there were no problems with the shell, but I liked it even more. Whoever writes about PWM, personally, the screen does not cause any discomfort for me during long reading or viewing. Simplified OnePlus 8 Pro
This is the flagship of 2020, which has become the little brother of OnePlus 8 Pro. It is smaller, lighter and cheaper than the older model. The OnePlus 8 features a 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED display with FHD+ (2400x1080 pixels) resolution, 90Hz refresh rate for smooth images, HDR10+ and DC Dimming support. That is, it fits comfortably in the hand and allows you to control with one hand.
The edges of the display are curved on the sides, and the front camera is located in a round hole, so the black strip that hides the cutout cannot be avoided during games. Under-display fingerprint scanner. But there is no protection against water, as in the older version, which is a pity.
Performance and battery life
OnePlus 8 received a top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, so the performance here is at a high level. And the Adreno 650 graphics accelerator and Snapdragon Elite Gaming technology in addition ensure the normal operation of even the most demanding games with high graphics settings. You can also add 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of UFS 3.0 storage here, but, unfortunately, there is no support for memory cards. But there is support for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 and NFC for contactless payments.
The smartphone also boasts dual stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos support for surround sound. There is no 3.5mm headphone jack, so you will have to use either an adapter or wireless headphones. A 4300 mAh battery is responsible for battery life, and this should be enough for a day of active work. It comes with a 30W fast charger that fully charges the battery in about an hour and a half.
cameras
The main camera is made in a classic style in the form of an oval block on the rear panel. It consists of three modules, can shoot 4K video at 60 frames per second and has the Smart Pet Capture function especially for those who like to shoot not people, but pets: software algorithms automatically detect when an animal is in the frame to reduce blur when movement. Front camera 16-megapixel. In general, photos and videos are of good quality, so OnePlus 8 will please not only with performance, but also with photo capabilities.
