The battery is manufactured using NiMh technology, and the factory marking is BK-3MCCE. There is a label on the case that says Made in Japan, and for some reason, I believe it, especially since I bought them in February 2018, and I have used them a lot. The only downside is the quite high price. So I repeat, if you are looking for good, reliable batteries, then you have found them.
I also used Eneloop Pro batteries rated at 2500 mAh, but they failed after about two to two and a half years, and to be honest, I didn't notice much difference between them. They might work a little longer, but not by much, so I don't see the point in using Pro for everyday tasks, just an overpayment.
