Pumps of the Top series from the Italian company Pedrollo have proven themselves in work related to draining pits for domestic wastewater, pumping water from flooded premises, emptying swimming pools, aquariums and sewage sumps.
Mission
The Pedrollo Top 1 pump unit is designed for lifting lightly polluted water from a depth of up to 3 m. The size of abrasive particles in the pumped liquid should not exceed 10 mm, otherwise the plastic impeller of the impeller of the model will have a hard time. The wheel itself is mounted on a stainless steel drive shaft, which inspires confidence in the design.
Float automatics
To avoid running dry, the model is equipped with a float switch to automatically start and stop the pump. Automation turns off the pump at a residual water level of about 14 mm. By the forces of a 250-watt electric motor, up to 10 “cubes” of liquid are “distilled” through the blades of the impeller of the unit in 1 hour. The maximum pressure of its supply rests on the "ceiling" of 7 m in height.
