I have been using hair straighteners for a long time and often. My first one was a Philips. Expensive, with Teflon plates, and a hole for pouring in water mixed with vinegar, as the instructions stated, to make hair shiny. And it supposedly moisturizes during use. But the straightening quality was not satisfactory at all. The plates did not glide well on the hair, and the effect of straightening lasted only until the first time I went outside. The second straightener was the cheapest Vitek with metal plates. It straightened well, but of course, damaged the hair, causing it to become very split. The cord became unusable, all twisted and exposed, so I had to throw it away and go to the store for a new straightener. I chose Remington. The advertisement attracted me, the reviews on the internet, and the price in the store. There were different models, and I chose this one. What I liked: it's not heavy, the cord looks very reliable at first glance, long, 360° rotation. Maximum heating temperature 230 °C. The plates are coated with Teflon and tourmaline. Quick heating (30 seconds). Heat-resistant case included. A small detail I didn't like - there is a round element for adjusting the temperature, and it's positioned so that I keep accidentally touching it with my fingers. It's not critical, of course, you just have to get used to it. Straightens hair very, very well. You only need to pass it over a strand once. Hair is shiny, loose (after the Vitek it was like it was dried out and not so much), straight. recommend i've been using it for about 5-6 years, it's like new. The long cord is rotating and never tangles. The styler feels comfortable in hand, and the temperature is adjustable with 6 settings. There is a heat indicator, though it's not really necessary as the styler heats up quickly. Hair doesn't become static after using it, unlike with cheaper straighteners. The plates don't get smeared with hair products (hairspray, mousse, etc.). A case is included, so you don't have to wait for it to cool down; you can put it away immediately. the temperature control can be bumped when you put it in the case, you can't place it on your lap, where the plate is - it's hot. use Remington Ceramic S1005 more than year |
