Compact solution for professional audio
New for fall 2023 from Rode is the compact Rode Wireless Me wireless system, designed for high-quality audio capture when creating various types of content, including presentations, reports, interviews, and even for amateur film production.
The main components of the system - the transmitter and receiver - are small in size and weight (only 32 grams). The kit includes two windshields, a fabric carrying case and four detachable cables for compatibility with a variety of devices, including smartphones, camcorders, cameras and laptops.
Receiver with additional microphone
A unique feature of the Rode Wireless Me is the presence of a built-in microphone in both the transmitter and receiver (Me Mic). This allows you to record audio directly next to the camera, which is especially useful for voiceovers or in situations where the interviewer is also acting as cameraman. Users can choose between combined or split channel recording modes.
Additional features and benefits
The transmitter is equipped not only with a built-in microphone, but also with a mini-Jack 3.5mm TRS input for connecting an external lavalier microphone. The system provides a high-quality 24-bit digital signal and supports wireless communication over a distance of up to 100 meters.
An important advantage is the autonomy of operation without recharging - up to 7 hours, as well as support for sensitivity adjustment. Although no additional pairing software is required, Rode's proprietary software adds additional ease of use.
