The top model from the Samsung portfolio of 2019, stuffed to capacity with the most advanced technologies. At the head of the TV set is a 4K panel with LED backlighting on quantum dots (QLED), characterized by a refresh rate of 120 Hz, support for HDR10 + and a whole galaxy of branded picture enhancers. In addition, the Samsung QE-55Q90R screen received a local dimming function for a full backlight array, due to which it came close to the capabilities of OLED panels in terms of “black depth”.
A separate bet in the model is made on artificial intelligence algorithms. So, the TV adjusts the sound and picture parameters depending on the type of content being played. In idle mode, screen savers are shown on the display of the device, and the model can also blend in with the surrounding background (Ambient Mode function). The "smart" TV ecosystem is based on the Tizen OS, which is flavored with AirPlay 2 support, iTunes Movies and the Universal Guide. The multimedia remote control for the model provides the ability to control gestures and give voice commands. In the back of the ultra-thin body of the device, holes were made for a VESA wall mount with a size of 200x200 mm.
