Compact and lightweight branded action camera of 2015 for recording video on the move and in adverse environmental conditions (vibration, shocks, water splashes). Made in a durable plastic case with a ¼ threaded mount for tripods or monopods. It comes with a transparent aquabox that meets the IP68 standard and is designed for immersion up to 10 m. It is equipped with a high-quality wide-angle Zeiss Vario-Tessar glass lens (up to 170 °).
The proprietary SteadyShot stabilization system compensates for the effects of vibration, which significantly reduces motion blur. The back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor ensures minimal noise in low light conditions. The key element of the Sony FDR-X1000VR action camera is the BIONZ X processor, which provides fast processing of a high-quality video stream with a high bit rate (up to 100 Mbps) and its compression in 2160p/1080p 60p/50p/30p/25p AVC/H.264 formats ( up to 50 Mbps) or XAVC S (up to 100 Mbps for 4K video). Any smartphone (Android or iOS) is suitable for controlling the filming process, while data transfer is carried out via a wireless Wi-Fi interface.

I'm glad I settled on this particular model. Not the cheapest, but it works without problems, the video quality is a solid five. I liked the camera as a whole, I use it with pleasure. I have already collected a whole collection of all kinds of extreme videos, in the future I plan to mount an amateur film about adventures. The model is compact, and most importantly - it weighs a little. Such dimensions allow it to be used in the most difficult conditions, it practically does not interfere. As for the video recording itself, everything is just fine. The lens angles are wide, nothing remains behind the scenes. The picture is smooth and contrasting, colors are transmitted without distortion. I also like the photos, but still I prefer to take pictures with a smartphone, since it’s not clear what is in the frame here. Separately, you can note the built-in microphone. The sound writes normally, there is no need to use additional tools. Of course, this will not be enough for some complex documentary film, but for such amateur filming, that's it. Another huge plus is that the camera can be controlled directly from your smartphone - a handy feature. A charge for several hours of shooting in Full HD, and charging from zero to 100 percent is fast. Photos and videos are easily saved to Micro SD memory cards. There are practically no drawbacks to the camera. Over time, scratches began to appear on the body, but this is not strange - the camera is sometimes used in really extreme situations :) |
