The model of the German manufacturer Steba has expanded the Eco Line series, the devices of which are distinguished by economical energy consumption and improved thermal insulation. It’s not cheap, but it’s solid: a metal body, a stainless steel control panel, an internal non-stick coating that makes cleaning easier, and a double-glazed door. It is more durable and retains heat better than conventional single. At the same time, neither the glass nor the handle heat up during operation, except for accidental burns, although the case itself is still heated. The handle here is folding, and it is fixed in two positions — to fully open the door or slightly open it. Although you can look at the process through the glass — fortunately, internal lighting is provided for this.
Cooking grilled chicken or meat on a spit
The electric oven is designed for a family of several people, since its capacity is not too large — 28 liters. However, this is a complete appliance that will help you cook a wide variety of dishes from meat and vegetables to pastries and desserts. Depending on the task, you can choose top or bottom heat or both at the same time, while the convection function will increase heat circulation so that the ingredients are baked evenly and do not burn on one side. However the small size of the oven does not allow loading a large carcass inside — only a small chicken or half of it will fit.
Management was entrusted to three rotary switches, which are responsible for temperature, modes and time. The maximum timer time is only 90 minutes, and I would like to see more markings on the temperature switch. It shows the minimum (90 degrees) and maximum (230 degrees) temperatures, as well as several intermediate values. If you need to accurately specify the required temperature, you will have to act at random and select the value intuitively. For example, for confectioners it is not very convenient.
