Wired stereo gaming headset with 7.1 virtual multi-channel audio support. It is the youngest model in the SteelSeries Arctis line, which, however, does not affect the high quality of its sound. It is distinguished by the use of modern dynamic radiators with a diameter of 40 mm, equipped with neodymium magnets. The amplitude-frequency response of the headset has a V-shaped character, which is characteristic of all gaming speaker systems. Not bad headphones, but for this price, you can get something more balanced. It’s worth noting that I used Sennheiser headphones paired with a discrete Creative sound card for about 8 years, which completely satisfied me. But after I started playing multiplayer games, I decided to get a gaming headset. Overall, for gaming, SteelSeries Arctis 3 is suitable and will appeal to most users. However, I didn't like them because with Sennheiser, I fell in love with listening to music and got hooked on lossless. These headphones didn't work for me - the sound feels like it's coming from a barrel. There's a lack of detail and volume in the sound, to put it briefly, I didn't like the sound quality at all. Also worth noting are the fabric ear cushions. On one hand, they are light and don't make your head sweat, but on the other hand, the sound isolation is quite poor, and the sound quality is worse. So, I gave these headphones to a friend and got myself the HyperX Cloud Mix, which I liked better for their sound quality.
