The Arctis 3 2019 Edition has larger ear cushions and slightly smaller volume controls. Also, the main connector for connection is a mini-Jack (3.5 mm), while a mini-Jack (2x3.5 mm) connector is available as an extension cable.
An advanced and versatile over-ear gaming headset from the popular SteelSeries Arctis range. It is one of the youngest models in the family, positioned as a product of the middle price category, designed for use with a wide range of devices. A standard detachable cable with a 4-pin mini-Jack 3.5mm connector connects to Sony PlayStation, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch game consoles, smartphones and Apple Mac/MacBook (Pro) computers without any problems.
An adapter to a 2x3-pin mini-Jack 3.5mm ensures operation with conventional PCs. Despite the fact that gaming headsets usually have a pronounced emphasis in the low-frequency region, the manufacturer provided a smooth and balanced sound in this model. Thanks to this, the SteelSeries Arctis 3 2019 Edition headphones allow you to enjoy not only the gaming process, but also listening to music of various genres.
The design of this model easily adapts to the anatomical features of the user's head and does not cause discomfort during long hours of gaming sessions. High-quality dynamic radiators with a diameter of 40 mm with neodymium magnets guarantee adequate reproduction of the full frequency range (20 to 22000 Hz). Worth mentioning is the bi-directional microphone with ClearCast noise-canceling technology.

SteelSeries Arctis 3 2019 Edition - successful headphones that I have been using for a year. Light and comfortable design, fits well to the head. The sound is one of the biggest advantages: they reproduce a wide frequency range and are perfect for those who value clear sound in games. Not recommended for audiophiles, but you can also listen to music, especially if you use additional software. The microphone is nothing special, but it's sufficient for chatting with friends or conveying "info" in games. A downside is the headband, which stretches over time, and the ear cushions are made of leatherette inside, which will eventually wear out. Therefore, you will need to replace these parts or "improvise" somehow. While the headphones are of high quality, the price might be noticeable for those looking for a budget option. Cool headphones, seriously. Probably the best ones I've ever had. Very comfortable, good quality and pleasant. The sound is good quality, very good. The microphone is also at a good level, but I had to play around with the settings a bit, but I don’t even consider this a minus. The headphones themselves do not start to put pressure on the ears at all, even after 5 hours of playing, as the ear cushions are soft and the material is very pleasant. But the only thing I didn't really like was the very long cord. It just lies on the table, but it is better to suffer with a long cord than to regret later about its absence. But I don't see it as a disadvantage. So the headphones are really cool. I advise!
