I took it at a discount in Eldorado, it cost me 5k. In other stores I saw a price of about 10k, which seems too expensive to me. I was very pleased with the vertical storage, it takes up little space, and the cord does not dangle. It grills meat very well without "boiling" it (the store consultant dissuaded me from this model and suggested buying the advertised Optigrill). Since getting the grill in the last year, I've stopped cooking meat in the pan, and without oil, it's much tastier. The meat turns out not greasy but juicy. I was looking for a model that wouldn't break or burn out over time, and this Tefal product is just right for everyday use, durable and indestructible. A regular product for its price. Cooks well. Remarkable removable trays with "non-stick coating" are just an advertising slogan. The coating is very delicate, everything burns onto it beautifully, and it's impossible to clean. Say what you like, but such a double-sided grill for a real steak is much better than the most wonderful and cool pan. The secret is simple and it consists in double-sided heating and clamping. As a result, the meat is fried almost twice as fast and there is much more juice left in it. The corrugated plates are made of cast aluminium and are evenly heated by electric heaters with a total power of 2000 watts. Moreover, due to the high thermal conductivity of aluminium, heating occurs at an impressive speed, the indicator shows readiness for operation in about 4 minutes. In addition to chic meat, fantastically tasty fish and poultry are cooked in it, vegetables are instantly baked, and hot sandwiches come out so tasty that you can bite off your fingers))) Since the plates and the pan for collecting juice and fat have a non-stick coating, they are washed without much problems that his wife could not help but like. And this grill can be stored upright, which is also very important for our small kitchen. He's a little pricey. The same Boshi and Gorenye of approximately the same size and the same power are much cheaper. But I still chose Tefal. A kettle with an iron from this manufacturer has been working at home for many years now, and this is probably the most trouble-free technique in the apartment. The full model name of the French brand Tefal is: Ultra Compact Health Grill Comfort GC3060. Already in the name, the manufacturer hints at the main features of the device: compactness, the ability to cook healthy food and comfort during operation.
With small overall dimensions, the working surface of the electric grill is 30x22 cm, which is quite enough to cook 4 steaks at a time. An additional feature of the model are the legs on the rear end, which allow you to store the device vertically.
3 temperature settings and usage positions
Tefal GC3060 is equipped with a powerful 2000W heater that heats both corrugated metal plates. The appliance can be used in three positions: contact grill, barbecue (tilting the top plate by 180° turns the appliance into a large roaster) and oven (the top surface is held by a metal support at a distance of about 10 cm from the product). It is the last option that distinguishes the model from its closest relative, the Tefal GC3050.
The electric grill has 3 temperature settings, set using the regulator. The first position involves heating up to 100 degrees and is suitable for cooking vegetables, the second (200 degrees) is for hot sandwiches. The third mode (up to 250 degrees) is designed for frying meat, fish, chicken and sausages.
It takes 6 minutes to preheat the plates to the maximum operating temperature.
Easy Care
The Tefal GC3060 grill has a fat tray. For cleaning, it can be removed, as well as the working plates. These removable elements can be washed not only by hand, but also in the dishwasher.
