Sliding telescopic hoods are very handy. For situations where you want to have a maximum of cabinets in the kitchen, they are perfect. And since my kitchen is small and there is not enough space in the cabinets, I looked after myself such a hood. Takes up minimal space. In fact, the cabinet in which it is mounted remains at least half, or even two-thirds functional, which can be considered a good result. Dome or inclined hoods cannot boast of such compact dimensions. The most important moment for the hood is its ability to pull out of the kitchen all the excess that my gas stove generates. A wife for a two-year-old son constantly cooks / steams / heats something and this creates unwanted humidity. This is especially noticeable in autumn, when it is already getting colder outside, and the central heating has not yet been turned on. So, with the help of this hood, the problem was completely solved. It can operate at three speeds and even at the first, the lowest, copes with a couple of boiling pots. The second is rarely turned on, the third in three months had to be used only once, when the stew in the pan burned down. Well, the price of the hood was pleasantly pleased. Makes a lot of noise while working. This is especially noticeable in the second and third speeds. Moreover, as I understand it, a significant part of the noise is created by a corrugated aluminium air outlet. I think that over time I will have to replace it with a smooth one. |
