The guys from XD Design have found an interesting niche by producing sophisticated backpacks for electronics with increased reliability. It all started with a successful Kickstarter application for the "anti-theft" Bobby backpack, and resulted in a full-fledged XD Bobby line. The new Bobby Bizz takes these ideas even further and is one of the most secure backpacks on the market.

Outwardly, this is the embodiment of minimalism: a black shell under the skin with the company logo, a clear rectangular shape, a minimum of identification marks. It is unlikely that he will seem beautiful to someone, but this is done on purpose to attract less attention. But with the convenience of complete order, in addition to the straps, Bobby Bizz has a carrying handle and an additional strap to carry it like a bag. That is, this is actually a 3 in 1 option: a backpack, a shoulder bag and a case with a handle. Plus, there's a suitcase attachment that further expands your carrying options. Like the original Bobby, the Bizz can be opened in three positions — from the top with a small gap, about 30 degrees, and by unzipping the internal latches, fully 180 degrees, like a suitcase. The total number of branches is 7, plus the main compartment inside. Judging by the number of internal pockets, they are all designed primarily for electronics, and not for carrying things. Yes, and an external USB port for a power bank hints at this.

Protection against rain, cuts, openings and "theft"

In terms of reliability, Bobby Bizz has become even cooler than its predecessors. Firstly, a metal frame is hidden at the base of the backpack under a layer of foam rubber, which adds rigidity and protects the contents from shaking and light impacts. The second line of defense is several layers of strong fabric on each side, which, according to the manufacturer, are not afraid of cuts. At least, imperceptibly cutting it will definitely not work. The same fabric protects the contents of the bag from moisture. The next one is hidden zippers and locks. This is a plus in terms of security, but a minus in terms of ease of use, since the locks have to be looked for under the skin, and the zippers themselves are difficult to unfasten. The last bastion of defense is a combination carabiner lock, which acts as an attachment for one of the shoulder straps. With it, the backpack can be fastened to a stationary object (if it suddenly needs to be left) or to the shoulder using an additional loop. In this case, the robber will not be able to abruptly tear it off his shoulders and run away.

Volume 12 liters

Finally, it is important to note that the volume of Bobby Bizz is only 12 liters, so it is unlikely to suit those who plan to carry more than just a laptop and a laptop every day. Plus, it costs almost 3 times the price of a regular laptop backpack like the Xiaomi Mi Classic Business Backpack.
