The Josera brand is best known by cat and dog owners. However, the matter is not limited to home pets; products for cows, horses and other animals are also produced. These are various types of high-quality foods (including for diets) vitamins and minerals complexes, milk substitutes, as well as all kinds of special products. What began as a small family firm has now grown into an international company whose products are supplied to dozens of countries around the world.

The brand was founded by Joseph and Paulina Erbacher, who launched a small production of nutritional supplements for cows in the Bavarian city of Weilbach in 1941. For quite a long time, the assortment remained small and the company worked exclusively on the market of foods and additives for cattle; the decision to deal with products for pets came later – the first products were presented to consumers only in 1988. They also turned out to be very successful and Josera was able to quickly gain a foothold in a new market.

Today Josera remains a family business. The company owns its own production facilities and laboratories located in Germany and Poland, which employ hundreds of people. According to official statistics, about 2 million cats from dozens of countries around the world eat the brand’s food.
