Portable lamps
— luminaires (usually spotlights, see 'Type') that are not intended to be permanently fixed in one place and are well suited for frequent movement. Characteristic features of portable models are stands that allow you to securely install the lamp on any more or less flat surface, and handles for easy carrying in your hands. Such devices are mainly designed for specific tasks — like landscaping at night — and therefore are relatively rare.
