Many of these models also have advanced software functionality — up to the full-fledged Android OS (see below) with the ability to install additional applications.Occasionally, there are other, more specific types of adapters — for example, models with a USB port and a composite analogue output, designed to play video from flash drives and other USB media on outdated TVs that are not equipped with USB connectors and digital inputs.
