Isofix

— the installation system for car seats up to 18 kg is mainly used in cars made in Europe. The seat is installed with two locks in the rear lower part, sometimes additional attachment is provided at the top and/or bottom. To use Isofix, the car must be equipped with the appropriate brackets, but even in their absence, such seats can usually be securely fastened with the regular seat belt — although this option is not quite justified in terms of price.
