The Lithuanian company Vitals produces a large list of equipment, among which the power tool occupies not the last place. The first model in the line of Master Ra 2462 HBm series perforators is convenient, moderately reliable and functional.

The Ra 2462 HBm has 4 modes of operation that allow you to make holes using impact action in very hard materials, such as concrete or stone, as well as to loosen rocks and asphalt surfaces. The impact-free drilling function allows you to get holes of the desired depth and diameter in wood, metal and synthetic materials. With the help of special nozzles, you can twist/unscrew fasteners, as well as work with a chisel.

The body weighing 3.1 kg is made of aluminium, and the gearbox is made of magnesium alloy and is reliably protected from debris and dust by a special lacquer coating. The configuration of the model, the presence of rubberized inserts in the housing and a safety clutch make the work safe and comfortable.

The drill is equipped with a plastic case and a rich set of accessories for work: three drills, a chisel, a depth limiter, grease, an anther and an additional handle.

The Ra 2462 HBm is a low—speed model (870 rpm), which indicates low productivity, but increased efficiency in heavy work, despite the modest power of 620 watts. The Vitals Ra 2462 HBm punch attracts with its functionality and affordable price. You can't call it a professional tool, but it will cope with small loads without difficulty. An advantageous option for everyday tasks with an eye to long-term trouble-free operation.

Bosch is famous for a wide range of high—quality power tools, among which the models in the green case belong to the household segment, and blue — to the professional. PBH 2100 RE is an almost exemplary household punch from the German grandee.

Designed to perform repair and construction work on small objects. It has the functions of drilling with and without impact, chiseling.

It is suitable for working with wood, metal, concrete, making holes in them with a diameter of up to 30, 13, 20 mm, respectively. The model is high—speed — it produces 2300 rpm at idle and 5800 beats, which indicates excellent performance. But for long-term work with very hard materials, it is not suitable, having, moreover, a weak impact energy of 1.7 J and a modest power of 550 watts.

Almost the main advantage of the model can be considered its weight — only 2.2 kg, so the hand does not get tired of it, and you can work comfortably even at height. When chiseling hard surfaces, you have to exert more effort, but some of the vibrations are absorbed by the body, in particular, by a rubberized handle with a comfortable grip.

The accelerator mode allows drilling "delicate" surfaces, such as ceramic tiles, without fear that it will crack, and the proprietary Vario Lock function makes it possible to fix the chisel in 36 positions.

The kit includes a depth limiter, so there is no need to perform constant measurements, the drilling process will be fast and comfortable. The reverse allows you to remove the drill without injury and damage to the perforator if it gets stuck in the material. Locking the on/off button frees you from having to hold it during prolonged operation, and also protects against accidental activation.

The model comes in a convenient, durable plastic case. There is a large selection of additional accessories (sets of impact drills and chisels), but they are not included and are selected optionally.

The number of convenient, functional and inexpensive tools from Makita also includes the HR2630X7 rotary hammer model.

The tool weighs 2.8 kg, while it is quite ergonomic and convenient to work in any conditions, including under the ceiling. The length of the power cord (4 m) is enough for repairs in the apartment and even construction work on the suburban area.

The tool is designed for impact drilling and chiseling in brick, concrete, natural stone, and drilling without impact in softer materials such as wood, metal, synthetic compositions. It allows you to work with a chisel in 40 positions, and a quick-release chuck of the SDS+ type provides a quick and convenient replacement with a chuck with a standard shank to use the tool as a drill-screwdriver. But you will have to buy it additionally.

The power of the model is 800 watts, and the impact force is 2.4 J. This means that you can knock down the plaster or level the concrete walls, but you should not hammer a hard surface for a long time, otherwise the tool will overheat. The impact frequency of 4600 beats / min and the idle speed of 1200 rpm make it possible to get neat holes in concrete with a diameter of 26 mm, in metal 13 mm, in wood 32 mm, and do this job quickly. Electronic depth adjustment with the help of a button eliminates the need for constant measurements and increases labor productivity.

HR2630X7 is equipped with a safety release clutch that protects against injury during jamming of the device. Locking the on/off button is convenient for continuous operation and in order to protect against accidental pressing. The torque limiter (electronic speed control) provides a stop of the drill to protect the user and the tool from accidental blocking of the drill.

A convenient branded plastic case is provided in the kit for storing and transporting the tool.

As much as we would not like to find flaws in HR2630X7, fortunately, we did not find them. In the rotary hammer, everything is balanced and causes confidence. And the price only emphasizes this.

The DeWalt brand needs no introduction: everyone who has or has dealt with it has long known that its technique is impeccable in work.

The D25134K rotary hammer model has three modes: drilling with impact, without impact and chiseling. The power consumption of 800 watts and the impact force of 2.8 J allow you to make holes in solid materials, loosen and remove plaster, asphalt, remove layers of concrete, brick. The perforator is also suitable for installing anchors, installing power grids, communications, fixing household appliances, performing finishing works. In addition to the SDS+ cartridge, there is also a quick-release cartridge with a standard shank, which allows you to use the model as a drill-screwdriver.

The D25134K has an ergonomic design, although not the lightest weight of 3 kg. But thanks to the additional handle, which contributes to an even distribution of the load on the hands, long-term work with the tool does not tyre. Rubber seals on the body and handle prevent hands from slipping, partially dampen vibration and protect from dust and dirt inside the tool.

The high frequency of impacts (5540 beats / min) makes it possible to quickly drill numerous holes, and the depth limiter will eliminate the need for constant measurements, however, it is made of plastic and risks not living for a long time.

The safety clutch will protect the master from injury, and the device from breakage if the load on the engine is exceeded and the tool gets stuck in the material. With the brush reverse, it is easy to remove the drill from the working medium of any density. The D25134K has a durable, but unfortunately not long enough (up to 3 m) cord without a hinge, and very few additional accessories can be placed in a plastic case, so not everyone will find it convenient.

The German company Metabo, in the best traditions, has developed a new model of a compact punch for a wide range of uses — the KHE 2860 Quick with a housing made of durable aluminium alloy.

Despite the weight of 3.1 kg, the model turned out to be quite ergonomic, thanks to a balanced centre of gravity and an optimized handle contour. The removable additional handle further simplifies operation.

KHE 2860 Quick is suitable for drilling and drilling of hard and soft materials. The additional function of chiseling is useful for removing old plaster, tile, leveling the surface. The tool has the largest power indicators in the class (880 W) and impact force (3.2 J), which allows it to work on construction objects for laying communication channels, power grids, installation of communications, interior decoration.

In addition to the SDS+ KHE 2860 Quick cartridge, it is equipped with a quick-release drill chuck for drilling on metal and wood. The Vario function provides electronic control of the number of revolutions, and the power button lock facilitates smooth operation and eliminates accidental clicks, so that you do not need to constantly keep your finger on the button when chiseling. If the drill gets stuck in the material, the safety clutch will work and protect the master from injury, and the drill from breakage. A plastic case is provided for carrying and storing the punch.

In search of the perforator's flaws, we ran out of strength, but we never found them. After all, even the cost of the model for its quality and functionality is not high.
