The ATON TTK Multi 20 solid fuel boiler is designed for use both in a gravity heating system and in a system with forced movement of the coolant, which is carried out through the use of a circulation pump. The boiler, and hence the heating circuit, can be used autonomously.

The device is designed for heating with the use of anthracite, coal and brown coal, firewood, peat briquettes and milling peat.

The maximum thermal performance of TTK Multi 20 when using anthracite is 20 kW, which allows you to heat a room with an area of about 160 m2 (maximum, taking into account the peculiarities of our climate and the quality of the insulation of the building — up to 200 m2). Please note that the use of dry firewood reduces productivity by 20% — up to a value of 16 kW, and with raw wood, the boiler's performance will drop to 50-70%.

A mechanical thrust regulator is supplied with the device, which opens or closes the air supply flap to the combustion chamber, depending on the temperature of the coolant. For more precise adjustment of the temperature of the heating system, a programmable controller can be installed, and a fan can be installed to increase the duration of gorenje up to 12 hours. The horizontal heat transfer channels of the heat exchanger are made of 4 mm steel.

Ferroli SFL 3 22.5 kW

The fundamental difference of the Ferroli SFL 3 fuel boiler is that when using additional equipment, the boiler can be reoriented to work using not only coal or firewood, but also pellets. In this case, the maximum heat output of the boiler, which when using dry wood is 19 kW, will be increased to 22 kW. This will allow heating of premises with an area of up to 170 m2 (maximum — 220 m2). When using coal, the maximum thermal power here will be 22.5 kW.

When installing a pellet kit, it is possible to equip a device manufactured in Italy with a double door, which will allow, if necessary, to use other types of solid fuel, quickly changing the mode of use of the boiler. It is also possible to equip the boiler with a stationary container for pellets (pellets), which is mounted next to the boiler and allows you to adjust the fuel supply in automatic mode.

Ferroli is equipped with a cast-iron heat exchanger with numerous "ribs". Therefore, even with a small volume of coolant, it provides a small thermal inertia and a sufficiently high efficiency for solid fuel boilers of this type (79% when working on coal, 87.6% when using pellets).

The boiler body is insulated with mineral wool. The maximum thermal performance of the Bosch Solid 3000 K20-1 cast—iron solid fuel boiler when using coke is 20 kW, which makes it possible to organize heating of premises with an area of about 160 m2 (the maximum capacity is 200 m2). At the same time, the use of coal reduces thermal performance by 10% (up to 18 kW), and the use of dry firewood — by 20% (up to 16 kW).

Due to the fact that the device has a small internal hydraulic resistance and an external connection to the pipes of the heating system with a diameter of 2", the boiler can be used in systems with both natural and forced circulation of the coolant .

This boiler allows you to load bars up to 280 mm long with a maximum diameter of 150 mm for use. In this case, the door of the loading chamber can be set to both left-hand and right-hand opening mode.

The device is designed to be used not only separately — as an autonomous source of thermal energy, but also together with other heating devices — as a backup heat source.

As with other models, the power of the Solid 3000 can be adjusted mechanically — using a thermostat that changes the position of the ash pan door depending on the temperature of the coolant. When using a boiler without a buffer tank, it is recommended to equip the device with a protective heat exchanger and a thermostatic valve. The latter will protect the system from overheating and limit the temperature of the coolant to 95°C.

Viadrus Hercules U22 D4 20 kW

The four-section variation of the Czech boiler Viadrus Hercules U22 D with a cast-iron heat exchanger is a universal variant of a solid fuel boiler in terms of using different types of fuel. In addition to coke, coal and lump wood (up to 22 cm in diameter and up to 27 cm in length), the device can be converted to use pellets, wood chips, shavings and sawdust, as well as liquid fuel and gas.

The boiler is distinguished by the design of a spacious (47 L) combustion chamber, into which, in addition to the primary air (through the ash pan), additional air can be supplied (through the hole in the loading door). Traditionally, for such devices, a thermomechanical regulator is included in the delivery package, which can automatically control the ash pan door.

The maximum rated thermal power, which is achieved as standard when using coke, reaches 23.3 kW, which allows heating rooms with an area of up to 170 m2 (in the limit — up to 220 m2).

The use of Viadrus Hercules is possible in a system with forced circulation of the coolant, as well as in a gravity heating system. The boiler can be used complete with a heat accumulator and as a backup heat source. For reliability, it is recommended to equip the device with an overheat protection system or a cooling circuit with a thermostatic valve and a temperature sensor, which are supplied separately.

STROPUVA S20 20 kW

The solid fuel boiler of Lithuanian production STROPUVA S20 differs from the rest of the compared devices not only in size, but also in the principle of fuel combustion itself. This result is achieved thanks to a telescopic air distributor, which, under the influence of gravity, gradually shifts the flame hearth from top to bottom. This makes it possible, firstly, to burn the material gradually, which increases the efficiency of the boiler and the duration of gorenje one load. And, secondly, it allows you to increase the service life of the device, since the movement of the gorenje reduces the "metal fatigue" of the steel heat exchanger compared to boilers where the flame is stationary. And according to the creators of the device, it is completely explosion-proof.

STROPUVA S20 is designed for the use of firewood (one load — up to 50 kg, the length of the bar — up to 45 cm), wood (up to 110 kg) and peat (up to 119 kg) briquettes, coal (up to 145 kg) and anthracite (up to 170 kg). At the same time, it takes up to 30 hours for a complete combustion of a portion of firewood, and the amount of heat that is released during the combustion of a full coal furnace is enough for about four days (for a house with a daily requirement of 150 kW / h). With a rated power of 20 kW, this device is suitable for heating rooms with an area of up to 160 m2 (maximum — 200 m2).

Similarly to the previous devices, STROPUVA boilers can be used in systems with both natural and forced circulation of the coolant. At the same time, the optimized gorenje technique allows you to abandon the additional heat accumulator. The temperature of the coolant here is regulated by a bimetallic thrust regulator, which mechanically acts on the air valve.
