The impressive useful thermal power (23 kW) makes it possible to organize heating of a separate house or cottage, commercial or communal premises up to 184 m2.
The second most important function of the Protherm Gepard 23 MOV boiler is the heating of hot water, which it provides in an amount of up to 11.4 L / min (subject to water heating at 30 °C). This amount is enough for the simultaneous operation of one or two points of analysis, which are quite enough to serve the typical household needs of a family of up to 6 people. For stable and safe operation of the boiler, it is required to install it in a separate non-residential (boiler room) room with a constant supply of fresh air and a chimney of a certain geometry, which ensures stable natural draft. The double-circuit wall-mounted gas boiler Protherm Gepard 23 MOV with a heating capacity of 23 kW supplies rooms up to 184 m2 with heat and hot water. The device is able to work according to the winter-summer scheme, providing heating and hot water in the cold season, and only hot water in the warm season. With its efficiency index of 89.5%, which determines energy efficiency, the boiler is somewhat inferior to analogues in its class. Since 2019, the model has received an updated laconic design with a push-button control panel and a small digital display, which allow you to automatically diagnose all elements and conveniently adjust the device’s operating parameters. Bright symbolic indicators give the user full information about the state of the boiler in real time. The device is designed to work in hydraulic systems with pressure up to 3 bar (up to 10 bar in the DHW circuit) and gas inlet pressure from 13 to 20 mbar. This is a chimney boiler designed for natural draft and intended for installation in a separate non-residential premises. A similar 24.6 kW model is also available for sale, which is equipped with a Protherm Gepard 23 MTV coaxial exhaust system.
eBus support
Large-diameter finned copper tubes in the primary heat exchanger eliminate circulation disturbances in the heating system due to clogging. And the built-in stainless steel plate heat exchanger is responsible for hot water supply with a comfortable temperature from 38 °C to 65 °C with a water flow of 11.4 L/min at Δt=30 °C. The device is equipped with a priority valve with an electric drive, a 2-stage circulation pump with an automatic air vent, a safety valve, a 3-way valve and an expansion tank with a volume of 5 liters. Full eBus support allows the boiler to be integrated into complex and efficient heating systems. The device is equipped with a safety module that includes protection against freezing, overheating, extinguished burner flame, gas pressure drop, reduction of draft in the chimney and power failures. The manufacturer also provided for the possibility of operating the boiler with an outdoor temperature sensor and a room thermostat.
