Excellent monitor, I think one of the best options in this price category. In addition, it has fallen in price; previously it was difficult to find it for less than 18k rubles. There is adjustment, quite extensive, anyone will find a comfortable position. There are built-in speakers, so for those who are just putting together their own setup and don’t have speakers, there is a small replacement. The sound quality in these speakers of course leaves much to be desired, they are also quite quiet, so you will have to turn the sound up to the maximum. I can’t say much about color rendition since I don’t understand it, but compared to my old monitor from 10 years ago, the difference is obvious!)) There are no glares/dead pixels, the screen is wonderful, and also a high Hertz, which is what you need for games. There is no very high resolution, only FHD, so if you have an expensive and powerful video card, you will probably be disappointed. And for everyone else, with an average PC, who plays FHD and can’t just install more - I advise! The mounts and stand are very well made and will definitely not let you down. I didn’t find any shortcomings, with the possible exception of the stand - it’s quite bulky and won’t fit very well on small tables like mine (something like 70cmx70cm). ![]() |
I like everything about it - the monitor genuinely has a great setup, the matrix is well-calibrated from the factory, there's no color inversion, the screen is anti-reflective, and the backlighting has no stripes or spots. There are enough ports. The price is reasonable. Seems like no problem ![]() |
I bought it for 15k in DNS, I was afraid of dead pixels and glare because I read a lot of comments where they complained about exactly this, but I didn’t find them in my copy. The roundness of the screen does not interfere in any way; it took 1 day to get used to it. I personally did not feel the difference between 5 ms and 1 ms. a 144 Hz screen truly feels responsive, all animations seem incredibly smooth Color reproduction for a VA matrix is decent, the default settings are quite suitable for gaming The position of the monitor is well-adjustable VA-matrix, because of it I was initially unsure about getting the monitor as I wanted to have good color accuracy, but the monitor can be adjusted in the menu to a good level or you can download a profile from greentechviewers, they promise excellent color accuracy. No speakers, would have liked to have at least some. Inconvenient buttons and menu. use AOC C24G1 few months |
Affordable curved monitor with 144Hz refresh rate
AOC C27G1 is one of the most affordable 27-inch curved gaming monitors in east european retail. It is based on a semi-matte VA-matrix with Full HD resolution and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. It is the last point that allows us to call this monitor fully gaming. And the screen curvature radius of 1800R allows you to create a more noticeable immersion effect and largely solves the problem of colour inversion and geometry distortion when looking at a large screen from a close distance.
Bright and juicy picture
The eight-bit VA-matrix has even deeper blacks than IPS, and has a full colour gamut of 102% of the sRGB colour space. This allows us to safely recommend the AOC C27G1, if not for professional, then at least for amateur photo editing and video editing. And for dynamic games, it's colour reproduction is close to perfect.
No weak spots
There are not so many additional chips here, rather there are the most important ones. The stand can be adjusted in height, and the monitor itself supports useful Flicker Free and FreeSync technologies. The first eliminates the flickering of the LED backlight of the matrix and, thereby, reduces eye fatigue during prolonged work at the PC. The second synchronizes the frame rate in games with the screen refresh rate (from 30 to 144 Hz), which eliminates image tearing and improves the smoothness of the picture. There are three video inputs and all are digital: one Display Port and a pair of HDMI version 1.4. Although HDMI is not the most modern (version 2.0 is now relevant), it is enough for the eyes to transmit pictures in Full HD + 144 Hz. Summing up all of the above, we get an excellent gaming monitor without weak points. You can only find fault with the plastic edging, which does not fit snugly against the screen, which will eventually collect dust in the cracks.
