Basic version of the earbuds without ear cups from Apple. The classic AirPods 4 model has slightly decreased in size, and both the headphones themselves and the charging case for them have become smaller. Inside the Apple AirPods 4 there is an H2 chip, and the updated acoustic architecture is responsible for the sound. The headphones support personalized spatial audio with head position tracking, dynamic volume control during calls on a paired smartphone, and a pressure-sensitive button is used to control them.
The model also acquired support for head control - for example, when communicating with Siri, you just need to nod to answer "yes" or shake your head to answer "no". The function works in a similar way for answering incoming calls. On average, the battery life of the headphones in music listening mode is about 5 hours. With periodic recharging in the case, the battery life can be increased to 30 hours. The case is equipped with a USB type C charging port, and in 5 minutes. When left in it, the headphones accumulate enough energy for one hour of subsequent autonomous operation.

When I first put them on and turned on this mode, I was surprised at how well they isolate external sounds. While the noise cancellation isn’t as powerful as the AirPods Pro 2, it’s still at a high level for in-ear headphones. If comfort is important to you and you don’t like in-ear models, the AirPods 4 ANC are a great choice. They offer balanced sound, good microphones, and ease of use. Those who need the most effective noise cancellation should consider the AirPods Pro 2, although their microphones are a bit inferior. Overall, the AirPods 4 are a quality and comfortable option among Apple’s headphones. Sound quality – clear, balanced sound at all frequencies. Compactness – small, light and easy to use. Gorgeous headphones, just like other products from Apple. I recommend trying them on before purchasing, as the shape and size may not suit everyone, but for me, these are the best headphones I have ever used. The noise cancellation is not as good as in the pro version with the in-ear cushions, but it still works. The best microphones in such headphones that I have heard, and the ability to charge from MagSafe (charger for Apple Watch).
