Great sound. Magneto-planars make themselves felt. You can hear more than in any mass market Sony, etc. Before this we had BW px7, Bayer 990 pro 250 ohm and Audiotechnica anc900. (By the way, I really liked the latter). Now, out of the box, the Audeze, compared to the above-mentioned models, doesn’t have a bad low end, the sound is very neutral. But all this can be corrected with an equalizer. The sound reserve is huge, you can customize the headphones for the majority of users and you can’t be afraid to take them without listening, as I once did with the Buyers, and then used an equalizer to jam the vaunted analytics that they specialize in. With Audeze everything is in moderation. In terms of comfort: quite comfortable, healthy ear pads, but I immediately ordered replacement ones from wicked cushions, they have a variation with a velor pad, I like this one better. The headband is also very comfortable, but it’s difficult to adjust; the same Wicked cushions have silicone alternatives. Basically, the headphones are very well built, well made, look solid, and there is no feeling of cheapness at all. But they are purely for home use and even for sit-down listening, because... They are quite heavy, a couple of times when I walked away and lowered my head somewhere, the earpiece almost fell off. But when you sit upright, everything is fine. The controls are on “knobs” and thank God, I don’t like the sensors on the cups. The utility has received 1 update, has presets, and is convenient. There is no active noise reduction, but again, I don’t really need it, and the headphones themselves are for home use. I haven't tested the microphone yet, so I can't say anything. The sound is great. The controls are based on physical buttons, which is a plus for me. The build quality is excellent and feels very expensive. They sit comfortably. The headband is difficult to adjust, but you do it once and forget about it.
The headphones are heavy and comfortable to use in a sitting position. If you bend over, they can fly off. Out of the box, the sound may lack lows for many, but everything can be corrected with an equalizer or presets from the utility.  dream : |
