Model overview based on user reviews
The Canon 35mm f/2.0 EF IS USM lens is highly praised for its excellent picture quality, superb sharpness even at f/2.0, and fast, accurate autofocus. Users appreciate its lightweight and compact design, making it a convenient choice for various photography needs. The built-in image stabilizer is a notable feature, enhancing its usability. While some users find the price high, others believe it justifies the lens's performance and build quality. However, one reviewer suggests that if you already own a 50mm lens, the 35mm might not offer significant advantages, especially considering the cost. Overall, it's recommended for those who understand its specific benefits and are looking for a reliable, sharp lens with stabilization.

i bought it a year ago, I don’t regret it for a minute, it’s high quality, I like that it’s heavy, it looks natural on my EOS 5Dsr, razor sharp sharpness, workmanship, nothing comes out he has no flaws ![]() |
I used the Sigma 35 1.4 art for half a year and I didn't like it. It's heavy, bulky, and gives very, very strong vignetting at open aperture (which I rarely used anyway). Later I bought the Canon 35 f2 is usm and I'm just happy. A much more convenient and useful lens to use. The main advantage of the Sigma 35 1.4 art is its excellent bokeh. But it's important to understand, this is 35mm! For bokeh, you need 50mm or more. 35mm is not the right focal length. Here's a review-comparison of these two models: http://olegasphoto.com.ua/index.php/obzor- working f2, super sharp at f5.6, excellent picture quality in general, fast and accurate autofocus, small weight and dimensions, stabilizer. no. ![]() |
I bought it about a month ago, I took it used, the condition is excellent. before it was 50 1.8, it was still a miracle. for him on the internet 50/50. I read a lot about many lenses and here it is 35 2.0, according to all reviews, it’s super, but the price is 40 thousand rubles, which is very biting for me. while an amateur. a long search for Avito and now I found it in the neighboring region. I agreed, I came for testing, I took it. First impressions, just super. Sharp even at 2.0, chromate, but not a problem. Of course, there won’t be super bokeh, but the background blurs smoothly, I like it for the crop it will stand up like a staffer. It’s very comfortable in the room, everything fits, you don’t have to hide in the corners. Sharp at 100, even with aperture 2.0, quite working. weight, autofocus is tenacious, it smears very rarely, of course, a stub. not yet detected use Canon 35mm f/2.0 EF IS USM month or more i recommend it should buy |
