Камера удачная - небольшие размеры и небольшой вес не напрягают в поездках и длительных прогулках на природе. Корпус удобный, пластиковое покрытие приятно на ощупь и выступ под правую руку традиционно эргономичен. Снимки получше, чем были на 100D. В первую очередь за счет телевика 55-250. Понравился четкий и подробный задний экран, причем он не только откидной, но и поворотный. Снимать с ним с рук "от пола" и "на вытянутых" проще простого. Ну и сенсорное управление, дублирующее кнопки тоже бывает полезно. Автофокуса два: обычный быстрый фазовый и гибридный для режима LV. Второй вариант непривычно быстрый, на 100D в LV фокус работал в разы медленнее. Чувствительность и шумность матрицы неплохо сбалансированы. До ISO 1600 можно особо не волноваться. А вот на 3200 на темных сценах уже начинается печалька. Телевик очень легкий . Действительно 375 грамм это для такого класса не вес вовсе. Фокусируется быстро, стабилизатор работает отлично.

Soap dishes can only dream of such detail and dynamic range. The 18-megapixel CMOS sensor with 1.6 crop factor is capable of a lot. The first thing that struck me was the sensitivity. Up to 1600 ISO, you can shoot without any reservations, and only at high values does a noticeable monochrome, and then color noise, appear. When working through the viewfinder, it focuses instantly, in Live View mode the agility decreases, but still remains high enough not to strain. Exposure metering is accurate, errors happen only in very difficult conditions, like oncoming headlights at dusk. I shot video in 720p format with stereo sound, it turned out great. I was pleased with the work of tracking autofocus in this mode. The EF-S 18-135mm F3.5-5.6 STM IS lens is a success. Enough for almost all occasions. Convenient swivel touch screen. It helped a lot when I photographed at mass actions, when you can only shoot with your hands by raising them above your head. It does not replace mechanical control, it can and should be used in parallel. The burst mode is useful, I shoot my two-year-old son only in it. A four-second burst of 19 frames will definitely give you a couple of good shots. But when shooting in RAW, only 6 frames are placed in the series, and after that the speed decreases to about one and a half frames per second. Excellent HDR mode.

First of all, this is a great lens. Focus speed is very good. Moreover, the focus works unusually quietly. The tracking autofocus of the video filming works out the movements quite quickly and clearly. Secondly, I will mention the quality of the resulting photo and video material. With this, as always with Canon, there are no problems. But do not forget that it is not the camera that shoots, but still the person. The "Auto" mode is good, but not ideal, and if you know how, it's better to work with Av or Tv modes. At high ISOs it does not make noise, the color balance works well. Comfortable in the hand, weighty, but not too heavy. The bright touch-screen swivel screen can be useful in non-standard shooting conditions.
