A tiny SLR from the initial strata of the society of cameras with interchangeable lenses in the weight category “up to half a kilogram”. At the heart of the compact "carcass" of the camera is a 24.2 MP APS-C image sensor with a crop factor of 1.6x. Side-by-side with the matrix, the DIGIC 8 image processor works. This bundle produces a rate of fire of 5 fps and provides good results when shooting at high ISOs (the native light sensitivity range of the image sensor is measured in the range from 100 to 25600 ISO units).
The autofocus system of the Canon EOS 250D body uses 9 focus points when looking through the "peephole" of the optical viewfinder and 143 phase sensors of the Dual Pixel CMOS AF system directly on the matrix plane, which are activated when the LiveView mode is selected. Video recording on the camera is made in the maximum resolution of 4K (3840x2160 pixels) with a frame rate of 25 fps and a bit rate of 120 Mbps. A three-inch touch screen on a swivel joint adds to the ease of handling the camera. In terms of wireless communications, the model is equipped with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules. On a single charge of the LP-E17 battery, the DSLR can take over 500 shots.

It’s a normal device, I personally like it, but it may not suit someone. Touch screen and some functions like a smartphone. Built-in matrix cleaning system. Information transmission system via Wi-Fi. Convenient ergonomics. Convenient menu. There is an indication of sound recording with manual microphone settings. The 18-55 mm STM lens has a good stabilizer, focusing system and zoom, noticeably improved compared to old lenses .The most convenient camera switch. Additional buttons next to the shutter release: ISO and a function button, which can be used to configure various functions, for example, viewing the depth of field. Excellent work in the Live View shooting mode. Good penta-prism viewfinder. Good dual-pixel autofocus performance. Noisy matrix - at an ISO value above 800, very noticeable noise appears in the image. Strong cropping of the image when shooting video in FULL HD, and even greater cropping when shooting in 4K. The memory card slot is located in the battery compartment, which causes great inconvenience when a tripod is installed. The buttons for selecting the focus point and locking the exposure are made of rubber, which makes them uncomfortable to use (they are difficult to press). It is unclear why the autofocus assist lamp was removed. The flash became manual, i.e. if you want to use it, please open it and remove it. I don't care about it, but some people might not like it. Not a bad camera. It was bought as a compact video camera with 4K shooting)) I really thought that the dual pixel autofocus would be at 4K, but it is only available for 1080p shooting (I somehow did not expect this. Contrast autofocus is also nothing, but it cannot be compared with dual pixel In short, I'm basically satisfied, but there are some nuances. For example, when I'm writing a video, I can't see the sound recording volume bar. It's very inconvenient, because I don't understand if the sound is being recorded at all. I had to buy an external recorder and record on it.The microphone is not reliable in this camera.The photo is taken normally.There are no complaints about the speed of work.The battery holds 2.5 hours of video recording.The camera is very small, light.It is not felt in the hand at all.I want to note that 30 fps at 4K is only available in PAL shooting, if you shoot ntfs, then there is 25 fps. A good model for shooting. You can get great shots. A standard model, like many cameras. I regret choosing this model exactly when I needed to work with flash light. I would have been better off paying extra money and getting a more expensive model, or considering another brand. Lightweight, with good ergonomics, excellent video and photo quality Thick.
