An ambitious semi-professional from the SLR camera squad, included in the Canon portfolio at sunset in the summer of 2019. At the heart of the camera is an APS-C sensor with a high resolution of 32.5 MP. An advanced DIGIC 8 image processor works side by side with it for the benefit of obtaining a high-quality result. The native sensitivity range of the matrix ranges from 100 to 25600 ISO units, with hardware it can be “pulled up” to ISO 51200.
In the “shooting” mode with Canon series The EOS 90D body shoots up to 10 fps. When focus through the eye of the optical viewfinder, the user is provided with 45 cross-type autofocus points, and when aiming at a target in LiveView mode, the proprietary Dual Pixel CMOS AF system is activated (5481 focus points are available). The screen on the back of the DSLR is hinged and supports touch control.
An additional information display for a quick assessment of shooting parameters is placed on the upper end of the camera body. Video filming is given to the camera in the maximum resolution of 4K (3840x2160 pixels) with reading information from the entire area of \u200b\u200bthe matrix (that is, without the notorious image crop). FullHD videos are recorded on a DSLR with a frame rate of up to 120 fps. In the "body" configuration, the camera is supplied without a lens — you will have to take care of buying optics for it yourself.

i thought for a long time about a DSLR or a mirrorless camera and bought the 90d. I took it for video shooting birds. The camera is primarily suitable for travelers and videographers. It is somewhat weak for professional photographers, with a peculiar noise texture in RAW. High-quality video shooting in 4K format, with the L lens, the video turns out soft, almost cinematic. No lags were noticed while processing the file in Premiere Pro. Just perfect for videographers! After seven months of using the camera, the rubber grip on the front handle started peeling off.
