Canon EOS R50 body

A small interchangeable lens camera that replaces the cropped mirrorless cameras of the popular Canon EOS M series. It also has an APS-C image sensor, and the model is assembled in a lightweight and compact body weighing about 375 g (including battery and SD card for storing footage ). The model is positioned as a handy tool for novice photographers and videographers, for which it provides an extended set of automatic shooting modes.

There is no built-in stabilizer on board the camera, but there is a proprietary Dual Pixel CMOS AF II autofocus, which works on the principle of deep machine learning for effective focusing with object recognition in the frame. In continuous shooting mode Canon EOS R50 body develops the rate of photographing up to 12 fps with a mechanical shutter and up to 15 fps when using an electronic shutter.

Video is recorded on a mirrorless camera in the maximum frame resolution of 4K (3840x2160 pixels) at 30 fps. In Full HD format, it is possible to increase the frame rate of video recording up to 60 fps or even up to 120 fps (but without sound recording). The model is armed with an electronic viewfinder, a 2.95-inch swivel screen with touch controls, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless adapters. In the "Body" configuration, the camera is supplied without standard optics.
