Updated version of Canon PIXMA G2400.
Colour inkjet multifunction printer from a leading Japanese manufacturer of similar office equipment. It is a combination of printer, scanner and copier in one relatively compact package. The main distinguishing feature of this model was the regular system of continuous ink supply. It provides more than an impressive print volume (up to 6000 pages in monochrome and up to 7000 pages in colour), which gives a significant reduction in the cost of prints (compared to printers equipped with print head cartridges).
Using state-of-the-art proprietary inkjet printing technology, the Canon PIXMA G2410 is capable of producing photorealistic full colour graphics and borderless photo printing (special paper required). Monochrome printing of documents, which can be performed at speeds up to 9 ppm, also deserves high praise. The built-in CIS flatbed scanner has a maximum optical resolution of 600x1200 dpi and makes it possible to quickly copy colour and b/w images. The MFP is well suited to work with a wide variety of paper weights from thin (75 g/m²) to photo paper (275 g/m²). Connection to a PC or laptop is carried out via USB 2.0 interface, complete with cable. It has a simple and clear control system with an LCD screen, compact size and discreet exterior design. For home amateurs, photos and scanned documents First of all: it's an MFP - there's a scanner, printer, and the ability to make copies of documents or photos even when the computer is turned off, which can sometimes be very convenient. I fill the built-in ink tanks once a year, I don't even know how many thousands of pages I've printed and how many hundreds of photos from 10x15 to A4 formats I've printed. It's easy to maintain and refill. The official software is also quality, with a service set for cleaning and diagnostics, a program for printing documents, calendars, or just photos (convenient when you need to make a pack of photos in 4x3 format, for example - there's already such a preset + easy photo adjustments before printing: sharpness, saturation, contrast). The print quality itself is excellent, for a home device. I use original ink and photo paper - no problems, photos printed a year ago haven't faded or lost color, even though they hang in frames on the walls and are exposed to sunlight. There's a quiet mode, works slower, but indeed quieter. The scanner is high quality and quite fast, no complaints either. The robot is a good one, especially if, after turning on the vents, it tests all its servos and blows out the nozzles - like a transformer, like a few ailments. Quite bulky, the tray seemed to rattle and there was some interesting detail. If you stand for a day without rinsing, the ink will dry out and you will need to blow it out for a long time with a service program, because the other one will turn green.
