Relatively inexpensive case, mainly designed to build a powerful computer with low noise. This is a roomy Midi Tower platform for an ATX motherboard. This case is equipped with sound insulation from the inside - the side covers and the front panel are glued with a special noise-absorbing material. Thanks to this, the computer system will not be annoyed by the excessive hum of fans and other components.
Air exchange is organized thanks to the frontal ventilation ducts, as well as perforations on the top cover. The Chieftec ELOX AS-01B-OP computer case is designed to build a system with a good level of performance. Inside the case, a tower cooler up to 170 mm high will fit freely, and a discrete graphics card can be up to 320 mm long. The chassis is built using a bottom section that is enclosed by a shroud.
Thanks to the lower compartment, it will be possible to reliably and safely isolate the power supply and the hard drive cage. Under the mounting platform of the power supply there is a ventilation channel, which is protected by an anti-dust mesh. Dust protection is also provided from above. On the back wall there is a regular 120 mm fan. The case is well suited for installing a liquid cooling radiator on the front cover, up to 280 mm.

Simple strict design;
Everything you need is included; "Democratic" price (relatively); The presence of noise insulation (it is difficult to compare the efficiency, but it is definitely not louder than in other cases); Lack of excessive lighting; A sufficient number of places for fixing fans; Trivia:
The connection to the front panel is made with separate cables (someone should finally come up with a new connector or the possibility to insert all these small wires into some kind of frame so as not to connect them with tweezers); Absence of standard fans in the front part of the case (there is only one in the back for the blower); Lack of additional spacers for mounting fans (should be included with the fan itself, most likely). The Chieftec Elox AS-01B-OP is a Midi-Tower computer case designed for motherboards up to Full-ATX format. Elements such as glass and luminous elements are not provided, and even the front panel is deaf, not mesh. However, there are narrow air intake grilles at the ends of the front panel. The chassis comes with only one 12 cm fan at the rear for exhaust ventilation.
This can only be in favor of the user, because he gets complete freedom of choice how to organize the cooling system of his PC: only with air or also with the help of liquid. While a long 360mm three-section liquid cooling system won't fit, the case accommodates a wide 280mm two-section system. The height of the air tower can be up to 170mm and the power supply can be up to 180mm long.
However, the length of the graphics card may be limited to 320 mm, which may not be suitable for some modern models, such as the flagships of the GeForce RTX 4000 and Radeon RX 7000 series, which turned out to be too large. The body is made mostly of 0.5mm thick steel sheets, except for the front panel, which is made of plastic, and the magnetic dust filter on top. The design weighs a moderate 4.3 kg.
It looks (in my opinion) quite pleasant, the quality is also quite pleasant, noise insulation is provided thanks to additional material on the inner part of the walls (side and front), something similar to fabric is stretched around the perimeter.
A month is enough to install the PSU, the HDD carriage (which I understand actually only holds 1 3.5" HDD, or did I do something wrong) and the 2.5" mounts are held in place by handy screws with plastic "heads" that can be unscrewed by hand.
A really nice case without any extra lighting, except for two blue LEDs to indicate the operation of the disks and the CPU (the light up on the front panel is not very bright, should not be alarming at night).
