Chieftec Task TPS-700S

Powerful and relatively affordable branded ATX v2.3 standard computer power supply with a controlled 120 mm fan and traditional cable system layout. It is the senior model of the Chieftec Task line from 2013, which includes four devices with power ratings from 400 to 700 W. It is positioned as an affordable mid-price category product, designed to power high-performance gaming systems with high-end/top-end video cards (typical power consumption up to 300 W) and home workstations of corresponding power.

The Chieftec Task TPS-700S power supply is built on a modern hardware platform with efficient circuitry and a reliable component base. It demonstrates good energy efficiency with an efficiency of over 85%, corresponding to the 80 Plus Bronze certification level. It provides confident stabilization of output voltages and can deliver up to 92% of the declared power on the +12V line (current up to 54 A).

At low or medium loads, the 120 mm cooling system fan rotates at low speeds and does not produce significant noise. In addition to the standard ATX 24-pin (20+4) and CPU EPS/ATX12V 8-pin (4+4) cables, it is equipped with two PCI-E 8-pin (6+2) lines for powering high-performance video cards, two SATA strings (3xSATA), and a cable with 3xMolex (4-pin) + Floppy. Protection against short circuits (SCP), over/under voltage (OVP/UVP), overload (OPP/OLP), and overheating (OTP) is provided.
