Flowing electric water heaters are the backbone of the products of the German company Clage. To provide an apartment or cottage with hot water in sufficient volume in order to wash the dishes and take a shower, the closed-type CEX 9 U model will come in handy.
Unpretentious character
The device is adapted to work in water supply systems with pressure up to 10 atm. Moreover, on test benches it is checked by a pressure many times higher (25 atm), which means that in the event of emergency situations (for example, water hammer), the water heater is not particularly threatened. The model can “prepare” hot water for several taps in one sitting: a kitchen faucet, a shower, a washstand, etc.
Touch control
The user has the right to choose the power of connecting the water heater at the stage of its installation. 6.6 kW and 8.8 kW options are available to choose from, making high demands on the cross section of the electrical wiring. During operation , the temperature of the water at the outlet of the boiler can be adjusted in the range from 20 to 55 °C. Under its fine tuning, two touch buttons are placed to the right of the information display. On the left side of the screen is a tandem of touch keys with preset temperature modes "38 °C" and "45 °C".

The pipes are connected to the model from above, which greatly simplifies the installation of the device under the kitchen sink. Optionally, Clage CEX 9 U supports remote control, however, the remote control is not included in the delivery set of the unit. In all respects, the water heater demonstrates itself entirely in a positive way, but be prepared to pay a tidy sum for it at the purchase stage.
