It worked for less than a month before it died. If I could catch the seller, well, you understand. It starts very poorly. Even worse with the electric starter, doesn't start at all, and the battery dies very quickly. It starts when hot. The tank leaks (constantly wet), and the fuel gauge lies mercilessly. The tank is claimed to be 18 liters, but in fact, it's less than 15. Consequently, spilled gasoline on the tank makes the label peel. It would start with half a turn if you spray "quick start" in the nozzle. It doesn't want to work with the choke open, shakes, and works unstably. Eventually, after the 50th time, it started, ripped the cord out of my hands, and broke the manual starter. The service center couldn't fix it; they ordered a new carburetor, tank, and starter. I've been waiting for a month, no light—it's a disaster. Yes, switching to gas is difficult, it stalls. But when you get the hang of it, it's not bad, economical. That's the only advantage.

Good generator at a reasonable price

The Daewoo GDA 3500 Master gas generator, having a rated power of 2.8 kW, easily endures even episodes when the total load reaches 3.2 kW (this happens when a cord from some powerful device is plugged into the outlet). At the same time, due to the presence of an automatic voltage regulator, the parameters of the output electric current remain stable. Therefore, this generator can be used to power modern household appliances that do not like frequency and voltage surges.

All parameters are within normal limits

There are no complaints about the quality of technology. The device is made of good metal, covered with matte powder paint to protect against corrosion. There are two 230 V outlets and the ability to connect 12 V devices. The engine is reliable and practically hassle-free (although, judging by user reviews, there are difficulties with starting in cold weather). The motor is not that very economical, but not too “gluttonous”. It consumes about 1.2 L / h at 50 percent load, or 1.8 L / h if the generator is fully loaded. Thanks to a fairly capacious 18-liter tank, it provides up to 15 hours of battery life without refueling.

Even to the cottage, even to the garage

The device is relatively light (by the standards of 3-kilowatt generators) — only 40.4 kg (5-10 kg lighter than analogues). An adult man can load it into a car alone or pull it out of the boot. You can take such a generator with you to the country house for the weekend, and keep it in the garage or workshop the rest of the time.

Daewoo generators (and this model in particular) deserve the attention of those who want to buy a good autonomous source of electricity at a very reasonable price.
