A fairly good budget cooler, easily handles i3 and i5 processors (8th-9th generation). Was paired with an i5-9400f, and temperatures in games/tests didn't rise above 70 degrees at a room temperature of 22 degrees. In over a year of use, I've never seen the RPM go beyond 1000, and as a result, it's absolutely silent during operation (the hard disk makes more noise). The downside is the lack of compatibility with socket 1200; I wanted to install it on an i5-10400 and had to purchase an additional ring. Great value for money. Sleek and pleasant design without any LGBT lighting. Fairly quiet. It probably fits into any Miditower/Minitower case (keep in mind that with the ring, the cooler's height is closer to 140mm+). Inconvenient mounting. No option to install on a 1200 socket (the mounting ring only has options for 775/115x). Bought for about 600 RUB. Before purchasing, I watched several reviews and read feedback. Excellent super budget tower cooler, quiet, two copper heat pipes, 120mm fan, universal mount. I couldn't understand why people were having so many installation difficulties. When I bought it, I realized it was just a nightmare. I have a 775 socket, had to remove the northbridge, and take the cooler apart and reassemble it. Removed the motherboard without taking it out, don't even try. The fittings are very tight, I was afraid of bending the board in the process. I don't know who came up with this mounting system, but they will burn in hell. Had I known how complicated and long it would take and the risk of damaging the motherboard, I would have thought 10 times before choosing this model. But, after 7 attempts, everything works perfectly, I'm very satisfied with the cooling and noise level. A new processor is coming soon, already preparing for this horror again. If it weren't for the installation, there would be nothing to criticize; for this price, it's just perfect. Cheap and cheerful
Deepcool's range of CPU coolers includes solutions in different price categories. The low-cost GAMMAXX 200T has been one of the most popular tower coolers for building PCs with AMD and Intel processors with a TDP of up to 100W for several years in a row. At the same time, its price is commensurate with simple non-tower coolers like Deepcool Gamma Archer Pro rather than with towers from other brands. And the noise level is a very limited 26 dB.
Maximum simplicity
The Cooling system design includes two copper heat pipes, an aluminium base that plays the role of an auxiliary heatsink, an array of aluminium plates and a 9-blade fan. The GAMMAXX 200T is fastened not with the help of a back plate (backplate), which AM4 has a different size, but with a universal latch. The claimed noise level is only 21 dB, but in reality the fan is far from silent, although still within comfort limits.
Friendly with AM4 and LGA 1151 v2 sockets
You won't be able to install it except on Intel LGA2011-v3 and 2066 processors, since they require a separate backplate that is incompatible with LGA1150 and 1151. However, the loss is small: it is not recommended to install a cooler with only two heat pipes on processors with a TDP of 100 W . But Deepcool GAMMAXX 200 is great for building a quiet PC with an Intel Coffee Lake or AMD Ryzen processor, even if you plan to overclock it a little.
