Pretty good low-cost cooler, easily copes with i3 and i5 processors (8-9 generation). I was paired with an i5-9400f, the temperatures in games / tests did not rise to 70 degrees at a room temperature of 22 degrees. For more than a year of use, I have never seen that the revolutions go beyond 1000, and as a result, it is absolutely inaudible during operation (the hard drive makes more noise). I considered the lack of the possibility of installation on socket 1200 as a disadvantage, I wanted to put it on the i5-10400 and had to buy an additional ring. Good value for money. Strict and pleasant design without lgbt lighting. Rather quiet. Probably fits into any Miditower/Minitower case (assume that the cooler height is closer to 140cm+ with the ring). Inconvenience of fastening. The inability to put a socket on 1200 (there are two options for installing 775/115x on the adapter ring). What if someone needs it :) i7-6700k at stock. It just barely manages, in games up to 75 degrees, but that's the limit, it hasn't gone higher, idling around 30 (plus or minus 2 degrees). It's quite amusing that such a small cooler can handle such a beast, so it can definitely cool new Ryzen or i5-8400, i5-8600k without any problem. After 1.5 years of use, it started making some noise, but if your PC is more than an arm's length away or under the desk, you probably won't hear it. A very important point, if you are into BDSM, this cooler's mounting is for you, because when I was removing it (specifically removing, installation is simpler), I almost hurt myself, considering I work with my head. I couldn't remove it properly, so I just pushed the mounting legs from the back of the motherboard. Cheap and cheerful
Deepcool's range of CPU coolers includes solutions in different price categories. The low-cost GAMMAXX 200T has been one of the most popular tower coolers for building PCs with AMD and Intel processors with a TDP of up to 100W for several years in a row. At the same time, its price is commensurate with simple non-tower coolers like Deepcool Gamma Archer Pro rather than with towers from other brands. And the noise level is a very limited 26 dB.
Maximum simplicity
The Cooling system design includes two copper heat pipes, an aluminium base that plays the role of an auxiliary heatsink, an array of aluminium plates and a 9-blade fan. The GAMMAXX 200T is fastened not with the help of a back plate (backplate), which AM4 has a different size, but with a universal latch. The claimed noise level is only 21 dB, but in reality the fan is far from silent, although still within comfort limits.
Friendly with AM4 and LGA 1151 v2 sockets
You won't be able to install it except on Intel LGA2011-v3 and 2066 processors, since they require a separate backplate that is incompatible with LGA1150 and 1151. However, the loss is small: it is not recommended to install a cooler with only two heat pipes on processors with a TDP of 100 W . But Deepcool GAMMAXX 200 is great for building a quiet PC with an Intel Coffee Lake or AMD Ryzen processor, even if you plan to overclock it a little.
