In 2024, the Electrolux line debuted a hob that occupies an intermediate position between the middle and advanced class. One of its key features is the Hob2Hood function, which provides automatic control of the hood. The fan speed will automatically change depending on the current heating power.
In addition, the Electrolux EIS 62453 is equipped with the SenseBoil function, which controls the boiling process. A special sensor switches the mode to "low heat" when the water reaches the boiling temperature.
Four heating zones with useful functions
The hob includes four induction heating zones: two large ones of the same size, one medium and one small. Thanks to the variety of sizes (from 14.5 to 21 cm) and power (from 1.4 to 2.3 kW), you can use various types of cookware - from small saucepans to large frying pans, implementing any culinary ideas.
The left two burners can be combined into one large zone using a special button - bridge mode. There are also pause and temporary power increase functions (PowerBoost), which allows you to save time. Additionally, there is a three-level indicator of residual heat CleverHeat, allowing you to bring dishes to readiness after turning off the device.
Control with sliders
On the glass ceramic surface, on the right front, there is a touch panel with sliders for each heating zone, with 9 power levels. There are also individual timers, which facilitates interaction and provides more options when cooking several dishes at the same time.
