Wide, stylish and efficient tilting kitchen hood with touch controls, slot suction and timer function. It has an increased width of 90 cm, which makes it possible to service almost any model of electric and gas hobs. Equipped with a durable 265 W electric motor and a balanced centrifugal fan that provides suction performance up to 1200 m³/h. Positioned as a product in the upper price category, aimed at servicing premises up to 24 m².
It can operate in two main modes: air exhaust outside the room or recirculation through a replaceable active carbon filter (purchased separately). In the second case, the carbon filter effectively retains aerosols and absorbs odors. The body of the Elica Stripe IX/A/90/LX kitchen hood is made of corrosion-resistant steel and will go perfectly with the silver hob. Speed switching and timer control are carried out using a capacitive touch panel. Two LED lamps (2x2.5 W) of a warm shade are responsible for illuminating the working surface.

This is a range hood designed for wide cooktops, and we have exactly this kind installed in our kitchen. When the cooktop is 90 centimeters wide, the selection of range hoods drastically reduces. There are noticeably fewer models—at least by an order of magnitude. Moreover, my wife was quite picky, not liking this or that option. So, after a heated discussion about prices, we settled on this model. A range hood is a relatively simple device that doesn't have many functions. Its main role is to remove hot, overly aromatic, or humid air from above the cooktop, and this range hood handles that simple task exceptionally well. Thanks to its large width, it easily covers a wide cooktop. Its suction power is such that when operating at full capacity with the kitchen window closed, a noticeable draft forms through the kitchen doors. Recently, my wife fried fish, and the range hood on medium speed completely eliminated the odor. Well, there was a slight fishy aroma in the kitchen, but there wasn't even a hint of the smell in the other rooms. Even at low speed, it's quite effective. Speed adjustments and lighting on-off switches are touch-sensitive. The lighting is bright, using halogen bulbs. You need to get used to the touch-sensitive buttons, as they are not as responsive as a tablet or smartphone touchscreen, so initially there might be some minor inconveniences. At high speeds, the turbine noise is quite substantial, making it difficult to have a phone conversation. |
