The power supply belongs to the low-cost class, it can be safely used on a home gaming PC with an average level of performance. So, the gaming orientation of this model is given by the presence of the PCI-E (6 + 2) interface, thanks to which it will be possible to power a powerful gaming graphics adapter. The maximum power of the power supply is 450 watts. This model is not certified according to the “80 PLUS” standard, which explains that the Gamemax GE-450 power supply belongs to the low-cost line.

But despite the price segment, this model has received a high level of practicality. Non-removable wires are dressed in a strong nylon braid, the case has a successful design. The control panel has a power button, as well as a 220/110 V mains voltage switch. The PSU has an ATX form factor, the size of which is well compatible with Midi Tower cases. This model comes with a 120mm fan. The operation of the cooler at full speed is accompanied by a noise of 48 dB. The power supply has all the necessary protective systems to organize reliable and safe operation of the computer. Also on the market are several older modifications of this model with a capacity of 500, 600 and 700 watts.

a normal unit for my own money, I bought it for 1500 at one time

A normal 450W power supply, I bought it for my sister’s computer because... the old one has already outlived its usefulness, it is paired with an i5 3350p and gtx 750ti, it works for a year and nothing
