Excellent camera, probably one of the best, but with one downside. I was interested in it back in 2018 when I was planning a trip to Turkey and wanted to capture some footage. Basically, there weren't many options then. The GoPro 7 wasn't out yet, and the Sony was quite expensive. In order, the pros outweigh the cons, much more. But the cons are disappointing. Pros: very high-quality image, especially the timelapses, which are incredibly detailed. The viewing angle is good enough for everything and more. Acceptable distortion, not overly distracting. I just accepted that it's there. The rubberized body feels comfortable in the hand, lightweight to a reasonable degree, and doesn't feel like a cheap piece of junk. The additional screen is very helpful for selfies or vlogs. The main screen is also good, bright, informative, and large enough to understand what's going on. Now for the cons. The sound is poor, hissing, high at times, low, quiet. Outdoors, you can hardly hear anything you say. Indoors, it's okay, but borderline bad. Stabilization is weak and doesn't work as it should. It's better with it than without it, but quite often it falls short. The battery lasts just over an hour, which is not much. Poor night shooting. Everything is noisy, the image becomes plasticky. That's about it. I like the camera, no regrets about the purchase. The image quality during the day is simply fantastic. The viewing angle is almost perfect, though I would slightly reduce it to eliminate distortions, but it's fine as is. There are many shooting modes that are truly helpful, not just for the name. Attractive appearance, and a huge number of cheap accessories available for sale. The sound is not very good. It doesn't record very well at night.
