Took it as a replacement for a broken i5 10400f in Artline, didn't change the cooler, it stayed the same: aardwolf performa 9x. The most demanding task so far has been Metro Exodus. A time-tested reliable and sufficiently powerful processor that still hasn't lost its relevance (at least when speaking of its capabilities). I've been using it since the end of December 2020. I was choosing between AMD and Intel, once again chose Intel and didn't regret it. It handles all my tasks easily; moreover, I chose the processor with a large power reserve for myself (thought I would play a lot of games, but that didn't work out), so sometimes I think that I could have chosen an i3. In the fall of 2023, I helped a friend choose hardware for a new computer with a limited budget, and the penultimate choice was between two models - this one and the Core i3-10105. The final choice was made in favor of the Core i3-10105 (not interested in games, and for everything else, the Core i3-10105 is more than enough). Therefore, the Core i5-10400 still feels very confident among other processors available in the new hardware market. Sufficiently tight, economical and cold. Possibly, price...
