A compact and high-performance mid-range gaming graphics card based on the Nvidia TU116 GPU, which features the advanced Turing microarchitecture. The GPU of this modification lacks RT blocks and tensor cores, however, the increased computational power of the chip, support for adaptive shading technology, and the new unified cache architecture with doubled cache size allow it to deliver much higher performance than one of the best-selling gaming cards of the previous generation, the GeForce GTX 1060 6GB (with a 25-50% performance advantage).
Additionally, the impressive performance of this model enables it to reach and surpass the performance level of the GeForce GTX 1070. Its typical power consumption is only 120 watts, making the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti VENTUS XS 6G OC an excellent choice for upgrading existing gaming PCs without replacing the power supply unit. It easily provides a consistently high frame rate in popular gaming titles from 2015-2019 at 1920x1080 resolutions with maximum graphics quality settings, and can often ensure comfortable gameplay even at 2560x1440. The card is equipped with a quiet cooling system featuring Torx 2.0 fans and an oversized thermal pipe. It supports connecting to 4K and 8K displays as well as any TVs with an HDMI interface.

Quiet on the cooler 40% saw a maximum of 72 degrees in the exodus metro. It is worth waiting at least 2 months until the price stabilizes, because with 22k + 3k added, you can get an RTX 2060, which offers better performance. It makes more sense to go for the 2060 at that price. Ideally, the 1660 Ti should be priced around 18k. In terms of performance, it's almost equal to a GTX 1070 and even outperforms it in certain projects, though not all. After all, the 1660 Ti is a mid-range card, while the 1070 is top segment. The 1660 Ti aims to be the popular choice for buyers, but not for 22k, patience is recommended. Let's become "waiters" and wait for prices to drop. The performance is almost the same as the 1070, but not in all projects; after all, the 1660 ti is the middle segment, and the 1070 is already the top segment. In my opinion, it's quite a reasonable price, of course, you could knock off a couple of thousand and it would be fantastic! But overall, for this money, we get a next-generation processor (a trimmed-down version of the 20 series), but without the unnecessary frills like the hardly visible rays, because they aren't included, next-generation memory, and a pretty decent price. And if anyone hasn't noticed, enabling these rays in the 20 series seriously drops FPS, so "why bother?". A successful solution for the slump in sales of the 20th series. Relatively inexpensive and highly effective. Of course, the price is always something you want cheaper)))) |
