How to choose an air conditionerThe main criteria to consider when choosing an air conditioner

What is the difference between a cheap air conditioner and an expensive one?Is it worth paying more when buying an air conditioner? Let's take a look at the pros and cons.
Model overview based on user reviews
The LEBERG Thor LBS/LBU-TOR09WF air conditioner is highly praised for its quick cooling capabilities and quiet operation, especially the outdoor unit. Users appreciate the remote control functionality via smartphone, which allows for seamless operation both within the home network and remotely via the internet. The air conditioner features an inverter compressor, offering energy efficiency and silent operation, making it ideal for nighttime use. The design is described as laconic and the unit is considered economical and easy to use. Despite the lack of a backlight on the remote control, users find the smartphone control more than compensates for this. Overall, the product is seen as a high-quality option at a reasonable price, with users expressing satisfaction with its performance and functionality.
Pros
Cons
Excellent air conditioner! I really liked it! The indoor unit is installed on the loggia in the bedroom. It was designed this way during renovation. That's why it was extremely important for me to have remote control capability without IR emission. I read a lot of different reviews and watched many videos about different brands, and many had issues with control via Wi-Fi. But since it became unbearably hot to sleep at night, I decided to purchase it at my own risk. Voila! I am completely satisfied with it! Now in the bedroom, with the balcony block open, the climate is just as I need it, with the main condition met - I can control it with my smartphone without seeing the indoor unit (very convenient if at night you need to increase/decrease the temperature without getting out of bed). The flow of cold air doesn't blow in anyone's ear, and behind the slightly open door, there is adjustable cool air like autumn! The outdoor unit's quiet operation is very pleasing. Installed on the third floor of a nine-story building. I worried that neighbors might complain, but! I'm standing outside, in the evening, in silence. I turn it on with the smartphone, and I see the cloths on the balcony start to flutter! I tell my wife (who is waiting for me sitting in the hall by the window) - "Go out to the balcony and listen, is it on? Or has the fan just started on the indoor unit?" She went out to the balcony, opened the window, listened, and said - "It's working!" )))) Even in the bedroom, late at night, the outdoor unit can't be heard! The indoor unit depends on the set speed, but at night in "sleep" mode it is also completely silent. The discussion will be about the LEBERG model LBS-TOR09WF/LBU-TOR09WF. It cools down very quickly. The outdoor unit is very quiet. Remote access. Unusual indicators integrated under the panel. The minimum temperature in "heating" mode is -15°. This model is a 2016 novelty, and I haven't found any reviews except for one reasonable promotional video from the sellers. It states that their software comes with its own QR code activation and works from anywhere in the world with internet access. When the smartphone is within the range of the home wi-fi, it connects to the air conditioner without internet access, i.e., just through the home network, and when the smartphone is outside the home network zone, it connects via the internet. And that's true! Checked it! Everything works without any issues! Turned it on/off while being several kilometers away from home, my wife at home monitored it, everything worked perfectly! Haven't found it yet. You can include the lack of backlight on the remote control, but why is it there if the control is completely from a smartphone. use LEBERG Thor LBS/LBU-TOR09WF month or more i recommend it should buy |
The air conditioner is definitely good - a fairly high-quality inverter at a reasonable price. inverter at an adequate price, made with high quality - at least visually I haven’t seen any problems in a year, convenient - remote control, successful operating modes and functions, does not work loudly - ![]() |
