I wanted to buy an air conditioner for a long time, but there was always not enough money. Good road models are worth it, but somehow I didn’t want to buy cheap rubbish. Finally, I collected seven thousand and a few kopecks and decided to consult with my son about the model. But he said that for this money you still can’t buy anything good and that he will add another 2.5 thousand to buy such an inverter model. The fact that the inverter is a good option, I also understood, so without hesitation, I agreed. Let this be a budget, but still an inverter model, which is in itself quite good. The idea of an inverter is in the smooth control of the compressor's operating speed, meaning it can adjust to the necessary conditions rather than operate in stop-start mode, as regular models do. The air conditioner was installed in an 11 square meter room, but it is a passageway, so its cool air gets into the neighboring 15 square meter room, and if you open the door, into the kitchen as well. It easily cools two rooms, but besides that, it can also switch to heating mode and work as a heat pump, drawing warmth from the air outside. Surprisingly, it can do this up to a temperature of -15 degrees. It can also effectively dehumidify the air, which I have personally verified, or just circulate air like a regular fan. It is controlled with a small, but quite convenient remote control. It's easy to maintain, removing filters is no big deal. It has a two-year warranty. To be honest, I was hoping for a quieter operation of the indoor unit, but the fan is not entirely quiet. It blows perfectly, but the sound was annoying at first. The external unit also does not differ in quiet operation, but this is not so critical. |
I put 2 of these three years ago in a private house of 50m2. The temperature is set to +20. On the second floor it holds +20, and on the first floor +16, with an outside temperature of 0 to -15. In summer I cool only the second floor, in any heat I turn it on for one or two hours in the evening. Not an expensive model. With more or less normal insulation, it quickly catches up with both heat and cold. Economical. Very noisy! Plastic keeps cracking! In winter, the outdoor unit is sometimes very noisy. ![]() |
When I bought my first air conditioner five years ago, the difference in price between inverter and non-inverter models was much more significant and I had to limit myself to a conventional unit. And now this border has blurred so much that you can buy a full-fledged inverter air conditioner for literally 300 bucks! Well, okay, for $310. But this does not change the essence of the matter. If ten years ago inverters were made only by selected manufacturers (as a rule, they were Japanese concerns), now the Chinese have adopted this technology, which greatly reduced prices. Don't be put off by the European name; it's a hundred percent Chinese product. Sellers might enjoy telling stories about a Norwegian company and meticulous Scandinavian engineers, but I trust enterprising Chinese more. The guys came to Europe, established a company, registered a trademark, and successfully make large sales of household appliances that are very cheap by European standards. Isn't that a "success story"? )) But, unlike complete no-names and one-day brands, this company and trademark have been around for a while and are slowly transitioning from the "cheap and very aggressive" category to "inexpensive but more or less reliable." The fact that they have begun offering a two-year warranty on air conditioners is already significant progress. This particular air conditioner was installed in a 15-square meter room with high three-meter ceilings. It performs excellently. It cools intensely, quickly reaches the desired temperature, and then reduces fan speed and quietly operates in temperature maintenance mode. You can easily sleep at night with it; it does not interfere. It's energy-efficient. A short power cord, and I don’t understand why it’s such a short length at all. Anyway, to change it or completely remove it, so we would save on this. At first, at night, the bright LED backlight on the front panel and its complete absence on the remote control screen annoyed me. |
