This is a low-profile membrane keyboard with key travel similar to a scissor switch keyboard, and the membranes are the same as those in a scissor switch. Essentially, if you're not comparing the two keyboards simultaneously, the difference is hard to notice - a true scissor switch keyboard has a more defined end of key travel, whereas here the end of the press is softer. Quietness is achieved through low travel, wide legs, and lubrication. Quiet, good stabilizers, the keys stay firmly in place and work without complaints. Adequate phone stand even with a case. Absence of the type of mechanism claimed by the manufacturer. Non-standard placement of the Del and ?/ buttons. |
