MX Keys S is an updated version of the MX Keys keyboard with improved switches and backlighting.
High-end wireless keyboard launching in 2023. First of all, this is a device for comfortable text entry. The layout features low-profile membrane buttons with a spherical fingertip surface. The keys are complemented by a scissor system that prevents the buttons from skewing. The working life of membrane switches is 10 million clicks for the main keys and 5 million clicks for the functional ones.
The Logitech MX Keys S membrane keyboard is equipped with light and proximity sensors. Sensors allow you to automatically activate the backlight and adjust brightness while typing. The device uses a built-in 1500 mAh battery. A charged battery will allow the device to operate autonomously with backlighting for 500 hours (about 10 days). Without backlight, the model can work autonomously for 5 months.
This is an improved version of the MX Keys keyboard. This option is equipped with a Logi Bolt USB receiver with an advanced security system Security Mode 1 – Security Level 4. Wireless communication can function stably and reliably in a room with a high density of interference. The connection has 37 alternative synchronization channels. An optional wrist rest is available. There is proprietary software Logi Options+.

The Logitech MX Keys S keyboard receives praise for comfort and quiet operation, providing a pleasant typing experience. However, it faces criticism for perceived poor build quality and short battery life, leading to mixed feelings among users regarding its overall value.
Logitech loved money too much. Perhaps there are, but they do not matter For $100, you get the same quality level as on keyboards for $5-10. This was a shock to me. The only thing I don't understand is how Logitech calculated where the threshold is where they should stop their greed. Why only 4000 UAH for this piece of garbage? Why not, for example, $150 or $200? Moreover, the defect is such that no service would call it a defect. Formally, the keyboard works, but the lower enter key, the one that is always used, catches on the casing and therefore doesn't work properly. Well, if this keyboard cost $5, it wouldn't be surprising that it's catching. But this... |
