Gaming keyboard, distinguished primarily by its full RGB backlighting and smooth key travel. The Logitech G213 Prodigy features a full-size design, including 8 additional keys for multimedia control. The keys have a membrane design. Externally, the buttons resemble mechanical counterparts. The layout symbols are laser-etched. The signal transmission speed is comparable to traditional gaming mechanics.
Another important feature is the wide palm rest, adding comfort while working on PC. The RGB backlight offers over 16 million shades in its gradient, available for layout symbols (Cyrillic + Latin). The backlight is divided into 5 zones, allowing for even key illumination across the entire layout. The intensity and color tone are adjustable via an additional button panel. This keyboard is well-protected against moisture. Connection is wired, using a USB 2.0 port, with the cable length being a standard 1.8 m. The keyboard weighs 1 kg, ensuring it stays snugly on the desk surface.

Cool keyboard. Got one for home. Then another one for work. Ended up equipping the whole office with them. As for servicing, it's not very convenient to take it apart and clean, but it's still pleasant to the touch, well-made, and assembled with quality. None of the keyboards have broken over a couple of years of use. It's great that there are media keys - just what I need at the office. - Average price - Quite quiet - Pleasant to the touch - Stands firmly on the table and does not slide - Sturdy cable -Well, it gets dusty quite quickly -And sometimes you want the keyboard to be a bit quieter, but that's something situational ![]() |
Backlight, plastic quality, comfortable keys, price After the purchase, I began to notice that the spacebar had to be pressed with very great force. A month later I decided to clean the keyboard after removing the spacebar and found a lot of plastic left over from the factory that prevented the spacebar from being pressed normally. After completely clearing the chips, the spacebar began to work correctly ![]() |
I thought for a long time about which one to take, choosing between the Razer Cynosa V2 and this one, reading specifications and so on. I chose this one because of the price, quality, and wrist rest. The keyboard is very good for its price, and it doesn't make noise for its price. Functionality-wise, for its price, this is almost the only keyboard with a wrist rest. If someone likes everything to be very flashy, then go for the Razer Cynosa V2 because it’s not too flashy at all, it misses areas where it connects with the keyboard and keys, and you need to frequently wipe it from dust or place something on it. I had to replace it once due to a defect with the spacebar - it required a hard press to register. ![]() |
Mech-Dome switches expertly recreate the feel of mechanical switches
Logitech's G213 Prodigy is a highly successful attempt at the best of both worlds, with its signature Mech-Dome switches expertly recreating the feel of mechanical switches with 4mm of travel, light tactile feedback and a perceptible click. The only thing is that, unlike mechanical switches, these only work when the key is fully pressed.
Massive death machine with palm rest
The keyboard has a classic look with a numeric keypad on the right, above which are additional and multimedia keys. The massive case of the Logitech G213 Prodigy, although made of plastic, weighs almost 1 kg. It resembles the popular G610 Orion and G810 Orion both in design and materials, but with an arm rest (unfortunately, it cannot be removed as part of the case). The back of the keyboard has a textured pattern with glossy elements that makes the keyboard stick firmly to the table. Well, she looks great in the photos. The body of the G213 is waterproof, but not waterproof. Logitech says it's rated for less than 60 milliliters of liquid.
Zone illumination and laser engraving
At this point, it may seem to someone that there is nothing special about it, but for an ordinary “membrane” the price tag is high. But here it is worth looking at the product as a whole — in fact, this is one of the few really intelligent emulations of mechanics with membrane characteristics. Even if it sounds hackneyed, it’s really convenient to work with her all day long, and cut online into something dynamic like Valorant or Diabotical. Add here a well-made zone backlight with a bunch of settings, a dedicated block of multimedia keys, high-quality laser engraving and proprietary Logitech G HUB software (backlight settings, controls, macros, etc.), and then the reason for such a high popularity of this model will become clear.
