I bought these tires for my wife's car, she drives a Hyundai Ascent. I purchased them mainly to forget about buying tires for her in the coming years, planning to sell the car with them in about 5 years and just be done with it... I came across these last year, and at that time there were no reviews or comments except from the official site, and they were marketed as a very economical option in terms of wear. Well, what can I say, we went through 1 season, and the second season has just started, so I checked them over and am ready with my comment. In one season, my wife drove about 9,000 km, which is relatively not much, and what I saw in terms of wear—I have a small gauge that shows the remaining tread in mm—I don't know how many mm were on the new ones, but the remaining tread after the first season was 8.2 mm. I suspect the new one was roughly 10 mm, so with wear calculated down to 2 mm, they'd last 4 seasons. Honestly, this didn’t impress me since almost every set of tires I've owned could go for 4 seasons, but I typically discard them after the third with a 3 mm tread remaining. So all that advertising about being the most wear-resistant is just nonsense. As for comfort and other parameters, due to their "durability," the tires are relatively stiff. They're not rock-hard, but for summer tires, they aren't that soft. Stability on the road is good, even at high speeds with sharp steering movements, the car stays on the road with no swaying in turns. There is a slight noise after crossing the 130 km mark, but here... but here a lot will depend on the road surface. Probably not worth writing about the price here, as the price is very cheap, and to say that the tires are bad, I can't even bring myself to do it, the manufacturer is well-known, the quality is excellent, and even if you ignore the PLUS in the name, you can confidently say that the tires are very good. I recommend them to anyone looking for a budget option with good safety and road stability. |
Pretty good tires for their money, bought in protector 1665205 - made in Germany, all wheels from 2016 not mixed. I drive a transporter van, the weight of the car is 1885 kg (not small) + up to 500 kg of cargo easily carried, although it was a bit scary at first, pressure 2.8 on 4 wheels. There was a comment, like if the tire got punctured on the curb - maybe the curb was made of metal sheets! Or was the speed wrong? I drive on curbs with these tires - 10-12 cm - took it "more than once" - the main thing is to be careful! The sidewall is soft though - but it's comfortable in the car, absorbs unevenness, and consumption is lower, and the suspension doesn’t suffer! - price for September 16th - 1880 per piece - now it's steep! 5 MONTHS ON SUMMER HOLES IN LUTSK - EVERYTHING IS FINE. BUS WITH CARGO SUSPENSION-CARAVEL-BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CARGO AND PASSENGER. ASPHALT-OKAY AND ON WATER TOO, IF REASONABLE SPEED! If for loads, it's not suitable + a bit weak tread for mud! The tread is 8mm - a bit small, we'll see about the wear - time will tell / the cargo "Agilis" has 12mm. |
